PDA - HP iPAQ hx2750

Overview

  On a stock it had:

Original box contains: (might be different or something sold separately)

This is a device from business segment and I'll be honest, that is the best purchase I've done among other computer electronics. It's been produced by LG in 2005 and was built well. As of now, rubber on both sides has degraded into awful sticky mess, but I decided to remove it anyways (plastic details under them are intact). And sadly the side button fell off amongst the first and you can't click it without a long object, like a stylus.

The side button without a rubber hammer and a plastic cover.

As I've said, that model is the best in its series.

Here's how OS looked like:

I'd be glad to post own photos, but now I'm trying to restore my iPAQ back to the English version, which is a bit tricky cause' I have to do it from a VM :P .

Fingerprint scan tool. It can encrypt your data, set a PIN, etc. And it still works!

There are still many stuff that this device is capable of, but for now, you can find most of the stuff online while I try to repatch it. More info and personal experience will be added later.

Edit: Bumping this thread to remind that I'm still online and was trying to reflash my iPAQ, but sadly it's nearly impossible through WinXP VM and Windows 11, so I'll have to postpone it atleast to the next week until I buy a keyboard for my HP PC or maybe buy something else... :D

But thankfully I've found a patch for Windows 10 (works on 11 too) for Windows Mobile Device Center and it does sync perfectly, though Pre-Boot mode requires another set of drivers made by Spiaatie and it only supports WinXP, Vista and 7.
