Who? I'm Curi, 19 y.o. (old ahh), another internet's silly asocial person.
Interests?
Retro Computing: late 1980s up to mid 2010s computers - every unique and stupid silly thing that could be interesting or not, ranging from big desktops or servers, all-in-one's, entertainment systems, SFF's, pocket PC's or even palm-sized PDA's. Games are lesser of a concern to me, but when I happen to put one or few, they're usually famous entries like Doom, GTA I or SimCity. I quite like MS-DOS, Windows 3.x and 9x. Very used to XP since I grew up with it, as many did :)
Programming & Webdev: Started from Delphi (Pascal) at school days, with somewhat C today. Most of the times I use my skills for old computers, like QBasic code, including this website, I want it to look quite simple and 00s-like, sometimes I try for myself, like bash scripts or something like Python (just poking at it).
Retro Tech: I've collected so far not much, however various stuff, mainly video-related, like cameras and TV's plus a PDA and maybe something eles. They're mostly in operable condition, but they did age alot, and I try my best to preserve it and check up regularly. My plans for now is to get a CRT-monitor and 486<->early Pentium-era Machine (laptop is preferable, but I wouldn't mind a desktop)
More detailed info will be in the
blog
section soon!
When? Roaming aroung here since like 2015, tried many times to become "popular", but it barely ever happened. Now since I've found my niche I feel a bit more comfy :)
Why? I- uhhhh rarely ask that question, it's rather "why not". Sounds like a cliche, but that's just how it is.
Music? People say it's normal, but I do like many genres depending on my mood. Ranging from something slighty heavy, like 1st and 2nd Slipknot albums, to Rave scene artists like DJ S3RL. Industrial metal is a plus to me, drum'n'bass, hyper-, electro-, etc. The only exceptions are dubstep and cowboy-ish music. I love making my heart beat like on fire - it makes me feel I'm alive.
Games? I lik-e the Doom series (especially original I+II and Doom 64), Half-Life series, Minecraft takes another spot in my heart as well, ENA: Dream BBQ!!!!, Roblox. The first time I've actually finished the original Doom was on my old DOS-era laptop and I even got to start Quake, but sadly the machine didn't live enough to reach the end. I also like horror games, fav is SCP: Containment Breach (yes, the original one).
